Our Mission
GSID was founded by a small group of progressive activists over forty years ago, with the purpose of representing and being responsive to the needs of the community. We advocate for many important causes including: affordable housing, LGBTQ rights, environmental protection, public safety, women’s equality, small business preservation & more.
